WWE has a roster loaded with talent in NXT, but they don’t see the same things in everyone.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned Cameron Grimes. A lot of fans expected big things when Trevor Lee jumped to NXT from Impact Wrestling. Grimes has a ton of potential, but WWE doesn’t see a top spot in him right now.
“Well, they didn’t beat him, but look, he’s not high on the — he’s not even on the [TakeOver] card so he’s not that high on — if he was on the card on Sunday it would be one thing, but he’s not even high on their priority list.”
There are reportedly more main roster call-ups coming soon. It appears that WWE NXT might have some room open up for Cameron Grimes to receive a better spotlight. Right now he’s being used on television, but there might not be much else planned for him.
