WWE Staffers ‘Shocked’ Company Has Yet To Administer Actual Coronavirus Tests

WWE is taking precautions to protect from the novel coronavirus, but they could be doing more, In fact, some in the company are “shocked” that Vince McMahon’s company isn’t doing COVID-19 testing.

AEW and UFC are bother doing swab tests. UFC even had a couple of positive cases. It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that some in WWE are very surprised that WWE hasn’t started doing actual COVID-19 testing at this point.

I know of people in the company who were shocked given UFC finding multiple people who passed the temperature checks but later tested positive and that AEW had already done multiple tapings where everyone was tested.

Everyone is checked upon arrival at the WWE Performance Center. A survey is taken to make sure that risky behavior was minimized and temperatures are taken. The WWE NXT Superstars who were part of the live crowd met at Full Sail University where they were given the same check-up before being taken to the Performance Center.

WWE alluded to everyone being safe, but they don’t know 100% for certain. It’s unclear why WWE has yet to administer novel coronavirus testing yet.
