ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that the New England Patriots are currently discussing a trade involving Gronkowski. This might see him return to football because he still has a year left in his contract.

Patriots and Buccaneers have been discussing a trade for retired TE Rob Gronkowski, per league sources. Gronkowski has one year and $10 million left on his contract. But the two sides are, and have been talking, prior to Thursday’s draft.

Rob Gronkowski also signed a deal with WWE. The specifics of that agreement aren’t 100% clear, but Gronk did come in for WrestleMania. Then he took off with the 24/7 Title.
