WWE is changing up their taping schedule yet again. This time they are making some rather interesting choices to keep the show running.

PW Insider reports that WWE is running live television for Raw, NXT, and Friday Night SmackDown. They will also be pre-taping episodes every other week.

This means that they will tape two episodes each and one will run live. They will air the taped episode the next week.

The plan, which has changed before and likely will change over time, will be to tape two weeks per taping date.  The idea is to tape in advance in other to cut down on the amount of travel talents and staff would have to endure.

It will be interesting to find out what Vince McMahon’s reason for this alteration was. Now they will be able to take an extra week between tapings.
