We are sad to learn of the first pro wrestler coronavirus related death. Mexican luchador Black Demon passed away at the age of 39.

Super Luchas reports that Black Demon, real name Roberto Munoz Carrillo passed away on April 13th. This was due to complications caused from COVID-19. It is reported that authorities have not confirmed his passing, but his family has.

Sonora, Mexico authorities have confirmed 12 deaths due to COVID-19. They have around 100 confirmed cases as of this writing.

This is a very sad situation and our hearts go out to anyone dealing with this awful pandemic. This is just another example why the coronavirus pandemic needs to be taken seriously so we can return to some form of normalcy soon.
