AEW Dynamite featured a very physical match between Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker. The two battled in an empty arena and Baker was busted open in the process. Her nose was pouring blood and now we have an update on how bad it was.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that Britt Baker suffered a deviated septum during that match against Shida. Baker’s nose was pouring blood as Chris Jericho noted on commentary how dark it was.

Following the match, Britt Baker cut a promo backstage with blood still on her face. She obviously isn’t done with Hikaru Shida yet.

This match was filmed during a three-day stretch of tapings. It wasn’t noted if the deviated septum caused Britt Baker to miss any scheduled matches. You can check out a clip from the match below.
