Last night on ESPN, a full run of WrestleMania 32 from back in 2016 was aired as fans took a trip down memory lane in preparation for WrestleMania 36 this weekend.

While it may have been billed as the biggest Mania of all time, a string of injuries before the show as well as some odd booking decisions left many fans feeling underwhelmed by the showcase of the immortals in Texas.

One man who was able to benefit, however, was none other than Zack Ryder.

On that night, Ryder shocked the world when he won the Intercontinental Championship in the opening match of the night. However, he lost the title just one night later on RAW to The Miz.

Despite how his career has gone since then, Ryder seems to have been satisfied with his one day run – although it’s hard to tell whether he’s just being a bit sarcastic.

Either way, we hope that he’s given another shot to hold the belt before he hangs up his boots.
