The coronavirus is getting a lot of attention in America right now. It took months to make it here from the other side of the world. The virus scientists think came from bats is still causing humans a great amount of worry.

Jim Ross doesn’t appreciate the chaos at all. The 68 year old WWE Hall Of Famer spoke on Grilling JR about how the media has handed the COVID-19 pandemic.

He’s not happy about how the media has been “screaming about it.” That hasn’t done anyone any favors and only caused public panic.

“I don’t know if the media is doing us any favors screaming about it. It’s important to be aware, you have to be smart, and I understand washing your hands and not touching your face, but man there’s a lot of unanswered questions, we’re in uncharted waters.”

“To me, it’s kind of stupid. For a lot of people to project what’s going to happen when they don’t know all the information. We’re talking about an unknown entity and an untraveled road and we’re supposed to be able to navigate that through the media and I think that’s wrong.”

Hopefully, the COVID-19 situation can be tapered off and handled with social distancing and self quarantine. The media might be making a big deal out of the coronavirus, but it could become a much larger problem if left unchecked.
