One of the big non-coronavirus stories of the last few weeks in relation to professional wrestling has been the announcement that Rob Gronkowski will be joining the WWE family now that he’s retired from the National Football League.

Gronk made an appearance back at WrestleMania 33 where he attacked Jinder Mahal and helped his friend Mojo Rawley win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Ever since then, fans have been wondering whether or not he’d step back into the squared circle – and it seems as if the answer is yes.

Rawley likes to have a bit of fun with the fans as we’ve all come to expect, and yet while this may seem crazy, we wouldn’t be all too shocked to see Tom Brady make an appearance in a WWE ring.

While he may be making the jump from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he is incredibly close with Gronkowski from their many successful years together in Foxborough.
