AEW is aware that the world is going through a scary and uncertain time right now. They are doing everything possible to keep pro wrestling on TNT every Wednesday night.
The thinking was that AEW could film a bunch of content to air through this coronavirus situation. That is not happening as they plan to return to Daily’s Place each week until this situation passes.
PW Insider noted that AEW has no plans on taping additional material at Daily’s Place tonight. They will be recording footage for AEW Dynamite and AEW Dark on a closed set.
As of yesterday, AEW was not planning to tape additional content beyond AEW Dynamite and AEW Dark as they want to continue to go live weekly.
AEW recording Dark on a closed set will mean that there will probably be no spoilers this week.
Only time will tell what the future holds. AEW’s next Dynamite outside of Jacksonville on the schedule is booked for April 22nd in Philadelphia. Anything can change in a moment’s notice in today’s day and age.
