Joey Janela understands the struggles of the indie wrestling scene all too well. He can also see that a lot of talented indie wrestlers will soon be in a bad situation.

AEW’s Bad Boy sent out a message to his indie wrestling family. He said that he’s there for them down the line when things get bad. Janela also made this a promise to try and help the best he can.

Indie Wrestlers who are making a full living off Independent wrestling and won’t be able to make any money in the foreseeable future, I’m here for you.. Down the line, if it’s bad I’ll try and help you the best that i can… Promise you that!

We’re not sure what will happen in the next 8 weeks. The CDC has recommended that all gatherings over 50 people be nixed. That includes indie wrestling shows no matter if there are less than 50 fans in attendance.

The best thing that fans can do right now to support their favorite indie wrestler is buy merch. Most of them have online stores, and they depend on those sales for an income. No indie shows means no merchandise tables.
