Ever since she turned heel, Dakota Kai has done a wonderful job of establishing herself as one of the most intriguing rising stars in NXT.

Now seemingly going by the name of ‘King Kota’, she’s starting to create a persona for herself that really does allow her to step away from the kind-hearted, loveable babyface that we all knew her as once upon a time.

She’s been pretty active in social media since she made the turn and, as always seems to be the case, she’s been pretty emphatic with the manner in which she’s gone after certain individuals on Twitter.

Kai is set to blow off her feud with Tegan Nox inside of a steel cage next week, and while this is almost certainly being done as a way to try and fuel the fire, it’s definitely interesting to note that there are times when WWE will purposely push one star over another in any given feud – mainly due to storyline purposes.

We’re at the stage now where Dakota Kai could realistically be positioned as future challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship, regardless of whether or not it’s Rhea Ripley or Charlotte Flair that holds the belt high by the time WrestleMania 36 comes to an end.

For now, we’re all just intrigued to see how this specific rivalry plays out.
