Naomi Asked To Be Sent Back To WWE NXT

Naomi made her return to WWE at the Royal Rumble. She had a good hiatus off of the road, but now she is on the road to WrestleMania with a SmackDown Women’s Title match on the books.

While speaking to Women Of Wrestling Weekly, Naomi revealed that she requested that WWE sent The Glow back to NXT. She loves NXT and she also wanted to work with the roster of exceptional WWE NXT Superstars.

“I asked about a year ago to go down to NXT to work. I just think NXT is awesome. I love NXT and also, the time I wasn’t being used much on the main roster so, I was like, ‘Dang, can I go down there and just see what I can get into, what could happen, and the talent down there is just so good.’ Just so good, and this was at the time where… I love Bianca, and her personality and her spirit is even more beautiful so, that was one idea I had.

WWE obviously had other plans for Naomi. Now she is set for bigger things. Depending on how her match works out this week on Friday Night SmackDown she might win a spot in the first-ever Women’s Title Match in WWE history to take place in Saudi Arabia.
