All Elite Wrestling opened their doors in 2019 and that meant that they needed to lock down a lot of names. They went to the copyright office so often that they made an impressive list.

AEW filed for 153 trademarks in 2019. That is just two less than Google. They still filed for more trademarks than Apple who registered 141.

WWE didn’t make the list at all. Then again, they didn’t need to secure a company’s worth of trademarks. It is unclear if the ones Cody Rhodes filed are included in AEW’s filings, but it stands to reason if they did.

You can check out the list of top trademark filings below thanks to Wrestlenomics. We’ll have to see if AEW makes this list next year.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
