Sin Cara was granted his WWE release. Then he showed up at a AAA event under that name without WWE’s permission.

He is still trying to lock down his new name “Cinta de Oro.” He also can’t wrestle until early March when his WWE non-compete clause expires. In the meantime it appears that he will be staying busy.

It was announced today that Sin Cara has been named as a director of International Development for Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club of the English Premier League. This new job will be starting on January 1st, 2020.

It’s unclear how involved Cinta de Oro will need to be with this new job. It sounds like he’s going to be keeping himself plenty busy following his WWE career.
