Billy Gunn & Son Austin Gunn Wrestling As A Team In AEW

Billy Gunn owns his name. He recently filed for trademark on his son’s name as well. Now it looks like Austin Gunn is preparing for a big opportunity with his WWE Hall Of Famer father.

The Gunns will team up and wrestle a match on AEW Dark next week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. They will take on Proud n Powerful.

It is very interesting because along with trademarking his son’s name, Billy Gunn also filed a copyright for “Gunn Club.” This might be a proposed tag team name for a father and son duo.

We’ll have to see how things progress, but AEW is very friendly to tag team wrestling. Considering the attention Billy Gunn brought as a part of the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal match it stands to reason that they’d have him appear on television again.
