WWE Friday Night SmackDown advertised two matches and the return of a much less hairy Daniel Bryan to television. Something seemed to work because their audience was up this week.

Showbuzz Daily reports that WWE Friday Night SmackDown’s viewership is up this week. This week they did an average of 2.414 million viewers for the two-hour broadcast.

Hour one of Friday Night SmackDown pulled in 2.493 million viewers with 2.336 sticking around for the second hour.

Last week’s average viewership was 2.339 million. That is not a bad sign at all as they head into Christmas.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
