Two WWE Superstars Could Return At Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble event has two matches with thirty participants each. This provides some big opportunities for surprises.

Returning from injury in the Royal Rumble match can work well even if a Superstar doesn’t win. Let’s just see what WWE has planned.

Both Ruby Riott and Nia Jax are out of action with injuries. Riott needed double shoulder surgery and Jax needed knee surgery. Fightful Select reports that both are noted backstage as being ready for a return in January 2020. This could provide a perfect opportunity for some Royal Rumble returns.

Nia Jax is back at the WWE Performance Center preparing and training for a return. WWE’s internal list has her as 1/2020. Ruby Riott internally was listed as the same date.

It might be worth noting that Nia Jax has tried to kill any report of her WWE return.

A return on the night after the Royal Ruble can always be a big moment to make a comeback as well. January’s Royal Rumble event marks the road to WrestleMania so we’ll just have to see what surprises WWE might have in store for fans.
