Marty Scrull’s ROH contract ran out on November 30th. His first appearance after Final Battle was at the NWA Into The Fire pay-per-view. Now it appears that his eyes are on the historic NWA World Heavyweight Title.

While most fans expect The Villain to land in AEW, that is not a certainty. At this time, Cody Rhodes says that Scurll is testing the waters in a recent interview release by Alex McCarthy.

“Marty is going to do what Marty is going to do. We all love Marty. Anything he does in the next few weeks or months, I wouldn’t look at as permanent for him. He’s very much testing the waters here and there and that’s pretty much all I can say on Marty.”

We’ll have to see what’s next for Marty Scurll. He very well could have a few viable options available for him. This could be a very interesting 2020 for The Villain.
