The Butcher & The Blade are now a force in AEW. This new team came out of nowhere, but they aren’t going anywhere.
Next week on Dynamite, The Butcher & The Blade are set to take on Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin. That could be a fantastic match. Last night at the Tid The Season event in Buffalo New York, the AEW newcomers received an amazing reception from a hometown crowd.
The Blade tweeted out a pretty cool note to wrap up last night’s event.

After their match was over, the crowd seemed to say goodbye. It’s unclear if this was really goodbye for them as some AEW stars are allowed to work other indie shows on the weekends. It was still an emotional setting with a Christmas theme.
