WWE had a bit of trouble with RAW this week as the third hour dipped below 2 million. That is just for the United States’ USA Network airing. It turns out that they are doing far less numbers than we might realize elsewhere.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Canadian fans aren’t tuning into RAW as much as American fans. The numbers are quite interesting as well and they reflect the idea of which brand is still more important.

Only 214,400 fans tuned in to watch the red brand this week. SmackDown pulled in even less with 152,400 for last week’s show. The most concerning number is NXT which didn’t even make the top ten.

In Canada, Raw on 12/9 did 215,400 viewers while Smackdown on12/6 did 152,400 viewers. NXT failed to crack the top ten, meaning less than 82,000 viewers

NXT is getting a big push in the United States on the USA Network. They tied with AEW Dynamite this week.

SmackDown might be getting a big focus because they are on Fox. That might not matter for fans not turning into Fox. The red brand still seems to have an edge on SmackDown which could be simply due to the history attached to that Monday Night program.
