AEW Dynamite will not be taking a break for New Year’s Day. We can only imagine how the crowd will be in Jacksonville, but they will have some stiff competition that night.

WWE is giving NXT the night off on January 1st, but AEW is running Dynamite from Jacksonville. It should be a big show loaded for AEW fans, but they will be pulling in fans who aren’t so interested in football.

AEW will be airing Dynamite on the same day as the Outback Bowl, The Rose Bowl, The Citrus Bowl, and the Sugar Bowl. That is just a few of the college football games going on that day. Oklahoma isn’t playing in any of them so Jim Ross won’t be preoccupied during Dynamite.

It is interesting that All Elite Wrestling isn’t taking a week off. They already have a big MJF announcement planned for Jacksonville. Let’s just see what else they can book to get fans to tune in and kick off 2020 with the best show possible.
