WWE handed down two suspensions for violations of their Wellness Policy this week. Both Robert Roode and Primo Colon were suspended for 30 days without pay for failing drug tests. Primo is never on WWE television anymore, but Roode is a regular.

Dave Meltzer discussed this during Wrestling Observer Radio where he explained that he was told Roode and Dolph Ziggler would be challenging for the RAW Tag Team Titles at WWE TLC. He was also told that could change which makes us question what their intentions were.

“Wednesday of last week when I got the card for TLC the card was New Day against Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler so that injury was not meant to be a long term injury so I think that the injury wouldn’t have anything to do with it because I was told it was Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler I was told that there could be a chance this might be changed.”

Now the Viking Raiders will hold an open challenge for the RAW Tag Team Titles at TLC. It will be interesting to see who comes out to challenge them, but they’re likely to be in for a big fight against Ivar and Erik.
