Chris Jericho isn’t done with New Japan Pro Wrestling. He might not be carrying his AEW World Title to NJPW, but we all know Le Champion becomes The Painmaker in New Japan.

Jericho appeared in a video during New Japan Pro Wrestling’s World Tag League event. This was the same show where Jon Moxley invaded to cement his place at Wrestle Kingdom in January.

Y2J’s opponent for Wrestle Kingdom is already set. He will face Hiroshi Tanahashi in the Tokyo Dome on January 5th. Chris Jericho cut a promo on Tanahashi during the World Tag League event that only proves it doesn’t matter which company Chris Jericho is in because he still brings the fire with promo work.

The overall theme of this promo is that time is running out for Tanahashi. On January 5th, Chris Jericho said that this will be one of the greatest matches of Tanahashi’s career, but it will also be his last match. You can check out the chilling promo below.
