WWE had to pull a big match from NXT tonight as Damian Priest is out with an injury. Now WWE is promoting a big return that could make up for it.
The company is now advertising Kushida’s return with a graphic on their official website. It says that he will be in action tonight, but no opponent was mentioned.
After spending several weeks on the shelf, Kushida will return to action tonight on NXT.
The Japanese Superstar suffered a wrist injury in late September, then re-aggravated it in a one-on-one bout with WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER, which forced him out of action. Now that he’s healed up, how will Kushida fare in his return to the ring? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on USA!
We’ll have to see what happens in this situation. Damian Priest was set to face Killian Dain on tonight’s show before the match was called off. It might be very interesting to see Kushida fit into that role and take on Dain.
