Former WWE Superstar No Longer Working For ROH

WWE equips their Superstars with a lot of skills and until recently Joey Mercury was backstage at ROH. They apparently parted ways.

PW Insider reports that Joey Mercury’s position with ROH ended this week. He’s been with ROH since May of last year.

Joey Mercury was overseeing the company’s training dojo as well as working with the creative team. He was also a backstage producer as we previously noted.

It is reported that Mercury was “removed” from his position. It was also reportedly a “mutually agreed upon decision.” This took place after a weekend in the UK.

It is also noted that “Mercury is technically still with the company until the end of a non-compete period.”
