La Parka was competing at the AAA show yesterday and suffered a terrible accident. Our thoughts are with him at this time. He is receiving medical attention, but he has a long way to go.

He went for a dive and hit the bottom of the guardrail. As you can see from the clip below, it was quite sudden. Luchablog noted that La Parka was diagnosed with a neck and cervical fracture. He had surgery this morning.

SuperLuchas reports La Parka was diagnosed with a neck & cervical fracture. The operation this morning was to release pressure and to repair a fractured vertebrae.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that La Parka couldn’t feel his feet. Then he could feel his feet later on, but that was before he went in for surgery. Hopefully, he will make a full recovery, but it’s highly unlikely he’ll wrestle again.
