Cain Velasquez No Longer In USADA Drug Testing Pool

Cain Velasquez cut his teeth in pro wrestling with AAA. Now that he’s apparently with WWE he might be hanging up his MMA gloves for good.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Cain Velasquez pulled out of the USADA drug testing pool. This means that his MMA career is likely done because you must be available for testing to fight in the Octagon.

“Another thing is he pulled out of the USADA drug testing pool which essentially means he’s retired as an MMA fighter. He’s not getting tested anymore. That’s a very interesting thing he’s not even staying.”

Brock Lesnar was in the USADA testing pool for months while he teased a return to the USA. Velasquez isn’t doing that at all which should show his dedication to a new career in pro wrestling.

Cain Velasquez wants to be a pro wrestler now and it appears that WWE is going to meet his monetary amount. Let’s just see how long he stick around or if a WWE Title reign is in his future.
