Enzo Amore On If He Would Return To WWE

WWE is reportedly discussing return for Enzo Amore and Big Cass. This would see them coming back to NXT for a big surprise, but are they interested?

While speaking to Wrestling Inc, Enzo Amore admitted that he couldn’t really see himself returning full-time to WWE. He might have said it at the time, but NXT could be a different story.

“I could never see myself working a schedule like that anytime soon. I mean, you just never say never with anything, so, I just know that absence makes the heart grow fonder. All is forgiven in time. I find that – and that goes on both sides of the coin because I worked for the company where at one point, I got fired and was upset… In that moment, I’m so angered. But then you look at it and you understand the significance of the timing of the situation and you have time to let that burn off.”

“Man, I don’t hold any grudges. Do I want to go back there? Absolutely, not right now. I am enjoying so much of what I am doing so quickly, of being in these locker rooms and meeting these guys, that I can’t imagine going back to a world where I’m on the road 300 days, over 250-280 matches a year.”

WWE Superstars have to work a lot, but NXT Superstars usually have a bit of a lighter schedule. If WWE brought Enzo Amore and Big Cass back to the fold for a spot in NXT it could create a lot of excitement for the yellow brand.

Things could get very interesting as things continue. If WWE brought Enzo and Cass back to NXT, it might be a controversial decision for some fans. It could also be a desired extra boost in the Wednesday Night Wars which seems to be WWE’s main intention.
