Ronda Rousey will be starring in Total Divas as the WWE reality television show enters its ninth season. Rousey might not be around WWE much anymore, but it’s okay, because they already have the footage filmed.
Mike Johnson revealed on PW Insider Elite audio that the footage for Total Divas season 9 was filmed from January to April this year. They will focus on WrestleMania season which had a lot of Ronda Rousey on WWE television.
“This is material that was filmed months ago that we’re just now seeing.”
“It’s basically the beginning of 2019 when Total Divas debuts in October which shows you how long the turnaround is for this. They’re gonna basically deal with the build toward WrestleMania. That’s what I was told this season’s going to be January to April.”
We’ll have to see how WWE deals with Ronda Rousey’s planned exit from WWE following WrestleMania 35. Total Divas season 9 is set to start on October 2nd at 10:00 PM EST on the E! Network.
