Vince McMahon has the reputation of switching up names of his Superstars if he so chooses. Rowan lost his first name “Erick” when the Bludgeon Brothers formed, but now that there are two of him apparently WWE thought this was a good opportunity to switch things again for Rowan.

The former Wyatt Family member’s name has reverted back to “Erick Rowan” on WWE’s official website. This is a rather surprising move, but it is still noticeable.

Daniel Bryan has actually called Rowan “Erick Rowan” a couple of times on the microphone already. Some fans thought this might have been a slip-up, but it could have been conditioning fans to accept Rowan’s first name once again.

You can check out a graphic below of Rowan on WWE’s official website as it proudly shows off his old/new name. Let’s just see how long it takes before WWE changes it back.
