Roman Reigns didn’t end SmackDown Live with a Summerslam opponent, but don’t give up hope.

Wrestle Votes reports that there are now talks within WWE to possibly add Roman Reigns vs Buddy Murphy to Summerslam. This would be an extension of their little locker room scene that closed out SmackDown Live.

We’ll have to see whether they go in that direction, but it’s a solid possibility at this point.

There were discussions last night about adding Roman Reigns vs Buddy Murphy to the SummerSlam card after the angle that went down on SmackDown. Source said it wasn’t decided either way yesterday, but it remains a possibility as we get closer to the show this weekend.

At this point it’s highly possible that Vince McMahon will walk in on the morning of Summerslam and change even more things. It seems like he’s just not happy with much anymore unless he as it changed again at the last second. That last-minute booking hasn’t really been paying off either.

Due to the way they ended things on SmackDown Live it looks like Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan isn’t going to happen in Toronto. However, you can never say never anymore in WWE.
