Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were a formidable team even before coming to WWE. While in NJPW, Gallows went as “Doc Gallows” and he usually wore face paint. That went away when he came to WWE, but it took enough time for it to make a return.

When Luke Gallows showed up alongside Karl Anderson and AJ Styles this week, he was wearing face paint once again.

Michael Cole called attention to it on commentary and explained that he puts on the paint to give himself an edge. So that might be enough of a reason for him to keep wearing it.

It’s nice to see that Luke Gallows was able to bring back the face paint because a lot of fans who remember him from NJPW do miss seeing it. It could also be a sign that the OC will be their big chance to really get some focus in WWE.
