WWE needs to get their Universe prepared for the biggest party of the summer. Next week is the go-home RAW before Summerslam and they already gave fans plenty of things to expect for next week.

Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s direction for RAW during Wrestling Observer Radio. It was noted that this week’s show seemingly set up several angles that likely need to happen before Summerslam kicks off in order to present a well-rounded story.

“My takeaway coming out of it is that they should do an 8-man tag team match on next week’s show because it just seemed to build from that. Yeah you gotta have Seth get something, he’s gotta be on TV next week and probably they should do Becky Lynch and Natalya against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross with the idea that they should team up somehow. Ricochet needs to get a win and you gotta find a way to hook Bray Wyatt in because he wasn’t on the show this week.”

It will be interesting to see what direction WWE goes in at this point, especially with the unpredictable Paul Heyman getting his hands on creative more each week. Because the former mind behind ECW was reportedly heavily involved with this week’s show.

Summerslam will take place on August 11th whether WWE has all of their stories tied up or not. The good news is that in a day and age with social media they can tell any stories that they like throughout the week even if they don’t get to them during the live show.
