Eric Bischoff is just getting started in WWE this time around. He showed up at the Raw Reunion special where he extended an offer to Maria Kanellis to join the blue brand with a big signature smile on his face, but what about all that heat he’s supposed to have.
We previously reported via Wrestle Talk that there is some backstage heat on Eric Bischoff. This was supposed to be due to how long it has taken him to get going in WWE.
Brad Shepard has an update to this story where he reports his source has totally debunked this report. Apparently, there is no backstage heat on Bischoff at all right now which is much better to hear.

Eric Bischoff has lot to learn and he stated that his new job on SmackDown will be an evolution process. In time, he’ll have more influence, but right now there is a lot to take in.
It all gets started for Bischoff this week, but I wouldn’t expect too many huge changes just yet. At least he doesn’t have to deal with any backstage heat.
