MJF competed at AEW Fight For The Fallen in a six-man tag match and it was reported that he was injured in the process. However, it might not be as bad as first thought.

Apparently, Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s injury isn’t actually an injury, but rather he just “banged up his elbow.” Sean Sapp reports that MJF decided he wanted to rest up his elbow after bumping it because he has a big match with his best friend Cody Rhodes in AAA coming up soon.

I’m told @The_MJF’s elbow injury isn’t as serious as some are leading on. He banged up his elbow and decided to rest it ahead of his AAA tag team match with his “mentor” Cody Rhodes

This is either good news or bad news depending on how you feel about MJF. AEW will definitely need him around when they debut on TNT in October so it is best for All Elite Wrestling that he stay as healthy as possible.
