Pac was set to compete at Double Or Nothing, but the fact that he was still holding the Dragon Gate Open The Dream Gate Championship kept him from competing. The former Neville was set to win at DON, but a future loss couldn’t be taken while he was champion of Dragon Gate.

This was the reason why Pac needed to be pulled from Double Or Nothing and Fyter Fest. We’ll have to wait and see when he will make a return, but according to The Young Bucks it will happen eventually.

While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, The Young Bucks explained Pac’s situation with AEW. They said he will be coming in eventually, but it is a work in progress.

Matt: He’s coming. I mean, eventually.

Nick: It’s a work in progress. It’s obvious that Matt and I are big fans of his. We met him like 10 years ago over in Japan so we’ll always have ties with him and we wanna work things out with him.

Matt: It’s a priority for us and I think we’re gonna make this thing work.

Nick: I think it’s just a matter of trying to fit his schedule with ours and hopefully, things will work out.

Pac could offer a lot to AEW, but he will need to be able to take a loss. As long as he’s champion at Dragon Gate that’s not likely to happen. Because the company doesn’t want their champion looking at the lights at all.

Hopefully, Pac can fit AEW into his schedule, but they need to work some things out before that can happen.

Thanks to Chris Van Vliet for the quotes
