Baron Corbin is reportedly getting a push because the ladies love him. It turns out that even though some fans might like to reject this idea, he’s actually scoring very well with the female demographic. This is a section of the WWE audience that the company definitely needs to capture.

Brad Shepard said on Oh, You Didn’t Know that a recent study scored Corbin very well an age group of females that WWE needs to have aboard. If you’ll notice in recent weeks he’s been getting a bit closer to Lacey Evans as well. It’s not 100% if this is to further drive home his sex appeal, but it probably isn’t hurting things for him.

At this point, it is reported that Baron Corbin is apparently getting the same younger female fan base that Jeff Hardy once claimed which isn’t a bad spot to be in.

“Baron Corbin is big with the 14-22 female demographic. His fans mimic the ones Jeff Hardy had back in the day according to a recent study.”

“I actually asked a source about that […] so that’s not why he’s being pushed, but that’s certainly a reason. It’s not that he’s a heartthrob, he just does well with that particular demographic.”

Baron Corbin has yet to get screams from women in the audience when he comes out, but maybe if he started taking off his TGI Fridays button up vest and/or shirt during his matches he could get a pop from the ladies at this point.

It should be noted that his heartthrob factor is not the only reason why he’s getting a push in WWE, but it isn’t hurting things for him either.
