AEW Fyter Fest is this Saturday and we will have full results right here at Ringside News. One person not currently advertised on the card is expected to get a big push once they start rolling.

Shawn Spears was known as Tye Dillinger in NXT and WWE, but The Perfect 10 never won any gold during his tenure with the company. He was able to forge a friendship with Cody Rhodes and that has definitely paid off because he is now signed with AEW.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that we should also “expect Shawn Spears to be a key player” in AEW once they start on TNT. Therefore, it looks like All Elite Wrestling could try and show WWE what they missed out on with Spears.

Shawn Spears is 38-years-old and Cody Rhodes made a comment after his debut video played that he could even be used as a “player/coach” later on. It really looks like Shawn Spears is in a much better situation now than he was while under a WWE contract.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
