WWE produced six hours of live television content this week including 205 Live. During 205 Live, Chad Gable made his big debut on the purple brand, but his match ended in a count out. However, that was not the plan.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Chad Gable’s match against Jack Gallagher was not supposed to end via count out. It’s unclear how the match should have ended, but the referee kept counting like it was a shoot and the match ended up being called off in the process.

The finish of the Gable vs. Gallagher match on 205 Live did not go as planned. The count out was not supposed to be the finish but the ref called it as a shoot

This is very interesting and makes us wonder if they just didn’t hear the referee counting or they simply thought that he wouldn’t call off the match. Either way, their match was called off which wasn’t the greatest way for Gable to start his run on 205 Live.
