Former WWE Superstar Signs With AEW

AEW has a lot of options because any indie wrestler should jump at the chance of working with The Elite. Fans saw this one coming for a while due to his close friendship with Cody Rhodes, but Shawn Spears fka Tye Dillinger is now officially with AEW.

Spears was involved in the AEW Casino Battle Royale before Double Or Nothing during the Buy In kickoff event. He lasted quite a while in the match before finally being eliminated, but he did that without a contract.

Now it appears that Shawn Spears and AEW have come to terms on a contract and it is official.

Spears is 38-years-old, but he has a lot that he can give and now he will be able to prove it with AEW whenever they finally start on TNT this Fall.
