With the storylines as good as ever, there are bound to be some phenomenal summer matchups this June, July, and August.

As always, most betting sites will have odds once we the matchups are actually official, let’s look at a few of the best matchups and possible matchups that we’re likely to see coming up this summer.

Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin | Stomping Grounds
After we what we saw at Super Showdown and this past Raw event on June 10th, the ongoing duel between Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin is going to be great.

The odds were much closer in the Super Showdown event, but Sky is showing Stomping Grounds odds that favor Seth Rollins at -800 to defend the Universal Championship yet again.

After getting trounced by Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins escaped Super Showdown with a little help from the ref. Corbin got distracted by the ref’s admonishments, and as the ref stood up to Corbin, walking the superstar backward, he tripped over the downed Seth Rollins who rolled him into a 3-count pin immediately. But it wasn’t over. Corbin snatched Rollins up it an End of Days. Suddenly Lesnar comes walking in with his case full of money and chair in hand.

Paul Heyman tripped and dropped the case wich distracted Brock just long enough for Rollins to tag him with a low blow and steal the upper hand. He then returned the favor with the steel chair. Brock definitely wanted to cash in, but it didn’t happen. He ended up splayed on the mat, battered by the chair like he did to Rollins on RAW.

So now the love triangle between Corbin, Rollins, and Lesnar continues.

Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans | Stomping Grounds
Southern Bell versus Irish bad-girl, Becky Lynch is a -700 favorite in the matchup. Evans just won’t go away. She seems to be right there, standing on Lynch’s coattails at every turn. That said, Lacey Evans couldn’t get it done last time around, and I’m not sure if this second chance really makes a lot of sense. However, it is going down, and we have to think that this time around, Lacey will have a few tricks up her sleeve. But, Becky Lynch has regained her fire, and she seems motivated to keep herself standing above the rest as Queen of the Hill. The heavy odds in her favor make it apparent that the sportsbooks in Vegas and online think that is the case as well.

Possible Summerslam Matches

Seth vs. Brock for the Universal Champion
One would think that with the mounting drama between Rollins and Corbin as well as Rollins and Lesnar, they set it up so that there is ample reason to showcase Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar as the main event at SummerSlam in Toronto on August 11th.

So far going tit for tat with chair abuse, if Rollins defeats Corbin at Stomping Grounds, this is a likely meeting.

John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan
One possibility for the main event card is Cena vs. Bryan. Bryan has been a loathed personality and what a better story than to have Cena pining after his 17th WWE title?

Becky Lynch vs. Rowdy Rhonda Rousey
We could see the resurgence of Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. She’s been on a bit of a hiatus after her fight with both Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair and breaking her hand.

This seems like a great time to conclude the running storyline between Rousey and Lynch, or at least rekindle it with enough fuel to last until WrestleMania 36.
