WWE has a lot of the brightest stars in the future of pro wrestling and DJZ is no exception.

After wrapping up his remaining indie dates, he is now officially an NXT Superstar, but the former X-Division Champion is no longer known as DJZ.

DJZ’s new name in NXT might be Joaquin Wilde, but it looks like they let him keep his light-up entrance attire and gimmick for now. He defeated Kona Reeves in his NXT debut and it is a great sign to win his first match with the company.

This is just the beginning of Joaquin Wilde in NXT as he continues to establish himself in WWE’s developmental territory.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
