We’ve all seen and heard Chris Jericho playing the role of a heel in All Elite Wrestling to perfection as of late, and in the wake of Double or Nothing, he seems hellbent on taking it to the next level.

Y2J was able to defeat Kenny Omega in the main event of the show at the MGM Grand, ensuring he will face Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship at a date yet to be announced. Of course, following that match he was attacked by Jon Moxley, but you’ll hear much more about that in the interview between the two men that has just been released.

One of the men commentating throughout the course of the show last weekend was Excalibur, and it seems as if Jericho isn’t his biggest fan.

Jericho has been blurring the lines ever since Double or Nothing went off the air, which includes not showing up to his scheduled Talk is Jericho appearance – although, some fans did predict that might happen.

Excalibur did a solid enough job on commentary in the eyes of many fans, although the real show stealer in that department was Jim Ross. Good ol’ JR seemed to have a fire in his work that we haven’t seen, or heard, in quite some time now.

In terms of the future it’ll be interesting to see whether or not All Elite Wrestling chops and changes the commentary team, if only to test out different combinations in order to see what the reaction is like.
