Many wrestling fans will be well aware of Stephen Amell by now, courtesy of his appearances in WWE and at All In – and, of course, his starring role in Arrow.

Amell is known for being a passionate fan of the business, and in addition to that, he also happens to be one of the best in-ring celebrity competitors we’ve seen in quite some time. He’s athletic, he’s strong and he just seems to ‘get’ pro wrestling like very few others in his industry do.

There’s been a great deal of speculation as to whether or not he’d return to the ring once again (perhaps even for an extended run), but for now, he seems happy to sit back and view things from the perspective of a fan.

Cody’s match against Dustin at Double or Nothing was widely considered to be one of the best bouts of the night, with a big reason for that being the overwhelming emotion associated with it. The two men are set to reunite The Brotherhood as All Elite Wrestling attempts to capitalise on the momentum they’ve created for themselves.

Amell’s future in pro wrestling is pretty uncertain right now, but we’d like to think he’ll have at least one more match before hanging up his boots. It’s well known that Arrow is going to be coming to an end pretty soon, at which point he’d be free and open to take on some new projects.

Who knows, perhaps a showdown against former rival Cody is a possibility.
