Rey Mysterio Must Vacate WWE United States Title Due To Injury

Rey Mysterio won his match against Samoa Joe at Money In The Bank which made him the WWE United States Champion, however, he won’t get to actually defend it.

Rey Mysterio separated his shoulder due to that post-match attack from Samoa Joe. It was brutal as he took two uranages in a row. Mysterio has been getting treatments that included some massive shots, but it apparently wasn’t good enough.

They announced this week on RAW that Rey Mysterio must vacate his WWE US Title. He will be on RAW next week to make the big announcement. However, we already know that he’s not going to be champion any longer.

Samoa Joe also came out and cut a promo about how he will be waiting to get his title back. Hopefully, Mysterio won’t be out for long
