WWE has a lot of people on the roster and not everyone will get a chance to be on RAW or SmackDown every week. However, some Superstars are even more likely to appear on Main Event.

Cedric Alexander was recently called up to the main roster and is now on RAW. However, you might not realize this if you watch the show every week. Now he is declaring himself the “Main Event Champion.”

With the WWE Wild Card rule in place, top Superstars are floating from brand to brand and taking a spot that would normally be held by someone else. This issue has caused some people to never be seen on their actual show.

Cedric Alexander isn’t the first person to have this problem either. Mike Kanellis eventually chimed in saying that there is a great history of being the Main Event champion from himself, Tyler Breeze, Zack Ryder, and No Way Jose. He has a good point in listing off all of those names.

TJ Perkins later commented saying that the Main Event Title is the “real dudes title.” After all, TJP was on Main Event a time or two before during his WWE run as well.

In all honesty, being on Main Event is nothing to be ashamed of. Plenty of top Superstars started out this way and at least they have the opportunity to perform on television. Because the blue brand doesn’t even have a secondary show they record before the broadcast.
