Roman Reigns is currently feuding with Shane McMahon. The two now have match during the WWE Super ShowDown event which was made official this week on RAW. However, McMahon might have different backup now.

Elias was Shane McMahon’s enforcer of sorts in recent weeks, but he wasn’t seen on RAW this week. Instead, McMahon simply said that Elias isn’t done with Roman Reigns. This was before booking the match at Super ShowDown.

Roman Reigns wanted to face McMahon last night, but Shane introduced Drew McIntyre to stand behind him and look menacing. This seemed to keep Roman from charging at Mr. McMahon’s son.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that, “[Drew McIntyre is] Shane’s new enforcer so he may take the spot that Elias was gonna have in that program.”

As we previously reported rumors of Roman Reigns vs Shane McMahon and Elias in a handicap match were swirling after an advertisement for Extreme Rules promoted that contest. With this recent change fans might see The Big Dog face McMahon and McIntyre instead.
