Jake Hager, better known as Jack Swagger to pro wrestling fans has two Bellator wins under his belt. Each victory occurred during the first round of his fight via submission. He is certainly off to a good start in MMA.

However, Swagger can’t say no to a pro wrestling return eventually. As he revealed to Ariel Helwani, he is actually in talks with AEW, but he couldn’t go into any specifics at this time.

“We’ve spoken and I think that will progress in the future, but you know… maybe we should have them on here. As of now I can’t tell you [if there is an offer on the table from AEW].”

Double Or Nothing might be a perfect time for Swagger’s AEW debut. However, he kind of let the cat out of the bag that Jon Moxley plans to make his first marks in AEW during that event so he doesn’t want to be in the former Dean Ambrose’s shadow.

AEW already has a great roster of talent and they also have a sweet television deal on TNT. Now it appears they could be adding a couple of former WWE Champions to the mix as well.
