This week’s episode of SmackDown Live, which was headlined with Kevin Owens and Kofi Kingston in the closing segment, did a new record low since the 2016 brand split.

Tuesday’s show averaged 1.833 million viewers, which is down from last week’s 2.072 million viewership. In comparison to last year, that episode drew 2.436 million viewers. This should be no surprise as WWE has been on a declining pastern over the past few years in regards to viewership.

The previous record low was back on the February 5, 2019 episode that had competition from Donald Trump’s State of the Union address.
